AWESOME BOOK!!!
I loved it! Full of adventure; if you like adventure, read this book. Katniss Everdeen's sister is drawn during the reaping. Katniss takes her sister's place. She has to prepare and train; she must also figure out how to keep from getting killed.

Take a moment to forget every good or bad thing you've ever heard about this trilogy. Seriously, do it.
This is a great book about a character you can probably relate to, her family, friends, and hard decisions.
Go pick up your copy of The Hunger Games, go to a cozy spot you can read for a while (you won't want to put it down), and think about how much you love *insert noun*. Now, jsut read it and form your own opinion.

The book starts with a visit from President Snow six months after the Hunger Games, warning her to stay back and make her relationship with Peeta more believable. Big surprises lay in store for both Katniss and her District.

Panem is a corrupt place controlled by the powerful Capitol. In Panem, Katniss learns to survive the dreaded Hunger Games that all must face. She overcomes many obstacles and discovers that victory may sometimes be worse than death.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins, is a futuristic dystopia set in Panem (U.S.A.).
After leaving the Hunger Games a duo-victor, Katniss struggles to straighten out her feelings from what the devious President Snow tells her to do. As she struggles ti either love the man she's known all her life, or her pretend lover, President Snow keeps backing her into a deadly corner.
This book I found to be different because it was a sequel adn also a middle book in a trilogy. Most of those are boring and obnoxious, but Suzanne Collins blew my expectations out of the "water." :)

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins, is a dystopic first book in a trilogy. It's set in future America, renamed Panem. In Panem, there is the Capitol and the thirteen districts. The thirteen districts attempt to revolt, causing the Capitol to respond by winning the fight and obliterating District 13. As another added punishment, every year each district must send a boy and a girl between the ages of 12 to 18 to enter the Hunger Games to kill each other until there is one victor.
I found this book to be a quick read and a unique story. I definitely loved it and rate it three thumbs up, or 10 out of 5 stars.

Hunger games
from the kitchen of Suzanne Collins
Ingredients needed:
2 cups of Action
1/4 cup of Adventure
1 pinch of Romance
1/2 gallon of Rebellion
1/2 gallon of Conspiracy
2 lbs of Fighting
2 gallons of Awesomeness
1 cup of Cool Main Character (for best results make it a female)
1/6 cup of Deception
3/4 cup of Death
1 tablespoon of Trust
1/8 cup of Hate
Directions
1. Add the cup of Cool Main Character to fairly large bowl.
2. Add two cups of Action, 1/4cup of Adventure, and pinch of Romance and stir thoroughly.
3. In a separate bowl add 1/2 gallon of Rebellion and 1/2 gallon of Conspiracy let set for a while.
4. Melt the 2lbs of Fighting add to original mixture.
5. Slowly pour Death and Deception while stirring.
6. Add the Rebellion and Conspiracy mixture to original bowl.
7. Add 1tablespoon of Trust and 1/8 cup of Hate.
8. Let mixture soak in 2gallons of Awesomeness.
9. Slap onto a couple of pages and enjoy.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire is probably one of my favorite books. It was an amazing page turner. I love the suspense and the feeling this author gives that makes you feel as though you're right beside the main character. This time, Suzanne collins took a whole new turn, more like twelve turns. I started reading this book in the mind set that it would be boring. I was extremely wrong. Not only was it not boring, it was better than The Hunger Games. I'm very excited for the final book in the series to come out.
