The Hunger Games is an exciting book full of adventure, treachery, and love. Katniss Everdeen is a teenager growing up in the country of Panem. Panem is a corrupt place controlled by the powerful Capitol. In Panem, Katniss learns to survive the dreaded Hunger Games that all must face. She overcomes many obstacles and discovers that victory may sometimes be worse than death.
